Outcome Ledger

Overview

The Outcome Ledger prevents projections from being presented as realized value. Each entry should identify its evidence class, owner, measurement window, assumptions, and provenance.

• Potential: unvalidated opportunity estimate.
• Modeled: scenario output with named assumptions.
• Committed: approved target, not yet realized.
• Measured: observed result with an attributable baseline.

Production checklist

• Keep credentials in a server-side secret store.
• Set explicit cost, latency, privacy, provider, and regional constraints.
• Capture route and evaluation evidence for incident review.
• Test timeouts, cancellation, fallback, and denied-policy paths before rollout.
